On August 12, the Tokyo Anime Center announced that it will be holding an exhibit of original art work from popular the Gainax anime Tengen Toppu Gurren Lagann. In addition to the theatrical rendition of the first part of the series, scheduled to hit Japanese theaters September 6, the exhibit commemorates the first bound collection of Gurren Lagann artwork. Admission to the exhibit is free, but the Anime Center will be offering a barrage of limited edition goods and special contests for customers. The exhibit will be on display until Sept. 21.
