Jump Shows their "Roots"

08.09.2008 by Eva

In honor of Shonen Jump's 40th anniversary, Roots canned coffee ads featured panels from One Piece, Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, and others.

Pictured here is Akira Toriyama's Dr. Slump, taken on the Hibiya subway line.

Translation: Encouraged, they shine brightly! Intuitively, they know smiling will piss him off. Roots - Drink and go!
